As another fellow human being, I too understand that life will inevitably throw difficulties and challenges in our way. Our feelings and responses towards these situations can be difficult to handle on our own, or even difficult to understand. We can often be left with hurt, confusion, and a feeling of aloneness during these times, and I seek to help remedy that for my clients. Whether it’s strife in an interpersonal relationship, substance abuse, past traumas, or one’s own journey of self-discovery and growth, I believe we can work together to make struggles in those areas a temporary state for you.

The counseling relationship I wish to create is one of collaboration between you and me. I strive to create a safe enough environment in which you can let yourself address the emotional components of your life without fear that you won’t be made whole again by the end of our session. My therapeutic foundation is a client-centered one, with AEDP, Gestalt, and Motivational Interviewing principles built on top. My life experiences have granted me expertise in interpersonal relationships, self- development, addiction and dependency issues, and struggles with sexuality and gender. Being a musician and artist has taught me about creation, catharsis, and in seeing the ebb and flow of life’s many functioning parts.

I do believe that personal growth will be difficult to achieve without challenging previous ways of thinking, so while we may push that to facilitate your own growth, I will be there with you during the entire process. Through a mutually created safe environment that features a sprinkling of challenges and an artful approach, I believe personal growth and emotional relief can happen for you.

If you think I can help, please reach out to me and we can set up a free 30-minute consultation. If you’re here reading this, then you’re already acting in your own best interests and I’m proud of you.
